Marco Island Executive Airport Taxi

This project involved the construction of a new 1-mile taxiway adjacent to the runway. This federally-funded project was completed utilizing the airport’s $6 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. This project increased capacity and helped provide a safer operating environment at the Marco Island Airport. This project was awarded Best Commercial Contractors Project – Infrastructure from the Lee BIA Summit Awards.

Punta Gorda Airport Terminal Expansion

After 16 months of hard work, the Punta Gorda Terminal Expansion project reached its successful completion. With four phases in total, this project included a stunning 40,000 sq.ft. addition to the existing terminal building, a complete remodel of the terminal for a total area of 57,000 sq.ft., and updates to both the conveyor belt system and chiller plant. This impressive feat was recognized by the Lee BIA Summit Awards, which awarded the project the title of Best Commercial Contractors Project – Public Works.

Punta Gorda Airport Rental Car Facility

The project consisted of constructing a new single-story, 18,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal rental car facility. This new facility replaced the existing rental car center and positioned the airport for a future connection between the terminal building and the rental car facility. ˿��Ƶ also provided preconstruction services to support successful project delivery.

Punta Gorda Airport Terminal Expansion 2024

Expansion and renovation to the existing commercial terminal building to address the current need to provide more space and improve efficiency for handling passengers. The terminal expansion project is anticipated to provide approximately 51,500 additional square feet of space for hold rooms, public circulation, public restrooms, and concessions. The project also includes the renovation of approximately 30,500 square feet of the existing terminal. These renovations will include modifying the existing hold room spaces into expanded security screening checkpoint space, queuing, public circulation, arrivals, concessions, and other support space. The project also includes the relocation of aircraft parking positions, the relocation of drainage structures and any required grading modifications to the aircraft parking apron as a result of the relocation of the drainage structures, expanded terminal space/support building space, relocation of rental car ready spaces, and construction of a new access road.
